Brisbane’s Leanne Ward said she loves to eat pizza but often doesn’t like the amount of saturated fat and salt that come with cafe-bought options – so she makes her own (pictured)
“Here’s my favorite homemade pizza recipe,” Leanne wrote on TikTok.
To make your pizza, you need to get your hands on some mini whole grain pitta breads to use as a pizza base.
You will also need an array of healthy and delicious toppings, including tomato paste, spinach, red onions, turkey breast, some Italian herbs, hot chilli flakes, zucchini, mushrooms, peppers, tomatoes, and finally some cheese.

Leanne said you can replace the turkey breast with any form of protein you like, including chicken, another meat, or tuna or salmon.
Once you’ve layered every single ingredient onto the pitta bread, simply put your pizza in the oven for 20-25 minutes – or until it’s crispy and the cheese is golden brown and ready to eat.
“So good,” Leanne said as she immersed herself in the healthy fakeaway recipe.

Thousands of people who saw the nutritionist’s contribution liked the healthy idea and said they couldn’t wait to try it out for themselves.
“I just did this and it’s so tasty and healthy,” wrote one woman.
“Omg, I’m happy, I have all the ingredients in my closet and fridge!” another posted.
Leanne emphasized that you can just as easily use frozen vegetables, which have just as much nutritional power as fresh vegetables.
You can also replace Lebanese with pitta bread if you want.
In the past, Leanne has shared the foods she swears by in fat loss – including Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, roasted chickpeas, and popcorn.
“These foods taste great and will keep you posted,” Leanne said.
As good news for those who can’t get through the morning without a big latte or cappuccino, Leanne said you don’t have to go without them to speed up fat loss.
“I have coffee every day – it’s both delicious and a good protein for fullness,” the nutritionist wrote on TikTok.
Leanne often complements her coffee with almond or oat milk, but always chooses a calcium fortified variety to ensure she is getting enough nutrients.
She also swears by frozen grapes for a sugar whiff when it feels like she needs something sweet.
