Dunkin ‘unveiled a new coffee with 20 percent more caffeine to help customers start on the right foot in 2021.
Starting today, Dunkin ‘is selling new supercharged coffee made from green tea extract that gives it that extra caffeine boost.
“Let’s face it, many of our plans and goals for 2020 have been derailed,” the company said in a blog post. “On the way into 2021, we could all use a little more to cope with our tasks.”

“If you’re looking for that extra boost to start your morning on the right foot or to keep you going on a busy day, we have the drink for you,” added the chain.
Coffee drinkers sometimes opt for espresso when they want more caffeine, as one ounce of espresso (one shot) contains 63 mg. – while a cup of coffee only contains 12 to 16 mg.
Coffee and espresso are similar but not the same, and swapping changes the taste.
Heidi Curry, Senior Manager for Research and Development at Dunkin, and Janet Rock, Manager for Research and Development, said that Dunkin ‘had worked on the new product to give customers the added caffeine with the traditional coffee flavor.
To encourage customers to try it out, the brand is offering mid-priced coffee for just $ 2 through Jan. 26.
