James Gunn has an epic Marvel and DC dream crossover for a team project. Gunn has been behind the camera for many films over the years, but it was that Guardian of the Galaxy Franchise that blasted him into the stratosphere. After a rather big argument with Disney in 2018, he began negotiating with Warner Bros. and DC. Gunn got access to do what he wanted with DC and decided to work on it The suicide squad, which will open in theaters next summer.
Disney and James Gunn were able to resolve their differences and he will take the helm again Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3That said, he will have made films for both DC and Warner Bros. The director made it clear that he enjoyed working for both studios, but one fan just asked him one rather difficult question: “What would your dream be?” Marvel and DC Crossover Team Project? “Gunn replied pretty quickly with a pretty epic answer:” King Shark, Rocket, Weasel & Groot. “
While it would be amazing for fans to see King Shark, Rocket, Weasel and Groot on screen together, it probably never will. It also seems that James Gunn has been thinking about this dream project since he found his answer so quickly. Marvel and DC fans love to argue about who has the best heroes and who did better at the box office. This is nothing new and has been going on for decades thanks to the comics. However, it seems that the whole world would be open to crossbreeding with King Shark, Rocket, Weasel, and Groot.
James Gunn often interacts with fans on social media and today seems like one of those days. He was also asked what happened to his hair, which is now gray. “Marvel and DC fans go for each other,” the director replied jokingly. Another fan wanted to know how to use the songs from his films “live” during filming, to which he revealed, “Yes, always. And (with Tyler Bates on Guardians 1 & 2 and John Murphy on The suicide squad) We pre-record the score for selected scenes and also play them on the set. “Not many directors choose this route on set, but music is obviously a big deal for Gunn.
James Gunn was also asked why he chose Bradley Cooper to portray Rocket Guardian of the Galaxy. The director revealed a little story about a former Marvel Studios manager who wondered the same thing because it cost so much money and you can’t really tell it is him. Gunn says he chose Cooper because he was “a good actor,” which is what most people seem to do when they hire an actor to portray someone on screen.
