Tina Milton, easyJet’s Director of Cabin Services, said, “As much as our customers have missed flying in the past few months, our cabin crew have really missed doing what they love to do to serve our customers. So this trial version offers us a great opportunity to bring easyJet to customers’ doors with our trolley delivery service.
“So for the time being, we’ll focus on making sure our on-site service stays as good as it does in the air, and we look forward to seeing everyone back on board in 2021.”
Johan Lundgren, CEO of easyJet, said, “Through this process, I am delighted to see that our crew is able to add a little holiday joy to the homes this Christmas.”
Deliveroo’s Natasha Graydon added, “If there’s one thing we’ve missed this year, it’s the feeling of getting on a plane, settling in your seats and toasting the upcoming vacation when you’re in a faraway place to fly.
“So we’re excited to be working with easyJet to bring that Christmas magic back home.”
