Data released on Monday shows that 46,154 people were vaccinated in Estonia and 586 of them had symptoms, which is 1.27 percent.
This means that 98.73 percent of people reported no symptoms after receiving a coronavirus vaccine.
The vast majority of symptoms were mild, but there were also four allergic reactions, said Maia Uusküla, the head of the Safety Monitoring Bureau for the State Medicines Agency (Ravimiamet).
There was one serious case in which a 32 year old woman developed inflammation of the spinal cord.
The agency’s data mainly concerns the Pfizer vaccine.
