The number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 has remained unchanged since Saturday. 384 people are on respiratory support (compared to 28 on Saturday) and 41 in intensive care (42 on Saturday).
Harju County had the highest number of new cases at 236, followed by Ida-Viru County at 67, Tartu County at 35, Pärnu County at 17 and Valga County at 13. 188 new cases were diagnosed in Tallinn.
Rapla County received eight new cases, Võru County received seven, Viljandi County received six, and Jõgeva County received five. There were four cases in Põlva County, three in Lääne-Viru County and Saare County, and one each in Hiiu, Järva and Lääne counties. 22 diagnosed people lacked a registered place of residence.
The 14-day case rate per 100,000 people is now 610.82, making initial positive results, which make up 12.8 percent of all tests.
Estonia has vaccinated 10,749 people, 552 of them in the last 24 hours.
