The national soccer team lost their first game on Tuesday afternoon with the new coach Thomas Häberl at the top 1-0 against the legendary Hungarian club Ferencváros TC, reports the ERR sports portal.
The game, played in Marbella, Spain, went goalless until the 71st minute when Budapest took the lead as the “home team” after midfielder Aissa Laidouni (France) scored as substitute goalscorer Karl Jakob Hein after a corner deflected from Ferencváros in a scratchy gate.
The national team is returning from a week-long training camp before qualifying for the European Championship 2022 in the Czech Republic opens on March 24th. Three days later, the Estonian team will travel to Belarus for the next qualification.
