Three Tottenham players and a West Ham star broke Tier 4 Covid-19 rules by spending Christmas Day with their families and posing for a group shot that was accidentally posted on Instagram.

West Ham’s Tottenham stars Sergio Reguilon, Giovani Lo Celso, Erik Lamela and Manuel Lanzini are believed to have broken the government’s Covid-19 rules by spending Christmas together.
A photo believed to have been posted on Instagram by a friend of the soccer player shows the four players in a house with 11 other adults, two children and a baby.
According to government guidelines set on December 19, those living in Tier 4 areas such as London were not allowed to mingle with anyone outside their own household at Christmas.

Up to three households across the country were only allowed to meet on Christmas Day.
Those living in Tier 4 areas are required to stay at home, barring limited legal exemptions that include work and education. People are not allowed to meet others indoors unless you live with them or they are part of your bubble of support.
The meeting is believed to have taken place at Lo Celso’s house with replicas of Ligue 1 and Coupe de la Ligue trophies won during his time in Paris Saint-Germain pictured in the background.

It’s not clear where Lo Celso’s house is. An Instagram post in the same house on New Year’s Eve marked its location as “London”.

Lamela, Lo Celso and Lanzini are international team-mates for Argentina, while Spain international Reguilon joined Spurs from Real Madrid in the summer.
Tottenham faced Wolves on December 27, with Reguilon and Lamela both playing while Lo Celso is currently injured. Reguilon played 63 minutes while Lamela came off the bench in the 84th minute.

Lanzini has played in all three of West Ham’s festive games against Brighton, Southampton and Everton.
Spurs canceled their game on Wednesday after a coronavirus outbreak in Fulham.
Jose Mourinho’s side host Leeds today while West Ham faced Everton on Friday.
