Asus ROG Zephyrus G15 appears to be getting an upgrade with the Ryzen 5000 series processor. The new gaming laptop model was discovered on the Amazon China website with the model number GA503QS. Asus unveiled the last ROG Zephyrus G15 laptop at CES 2020 in January 2020. It came with the Ryzen 7 4800HS CPU from AMD. Asus is likely to continue the trend and introduce the new ROG Zephyrus G15 GA503QS at CES 2021 next week. The gaming laptop is expected to ship with a number of new computing devices from the Taiwanese company.
As noted in My Laptop Guide, the details of the Asus ROG Zephyrus G15 GA503QS have surfaced on Amazon China. The ecommerce platform appears to have updated the list to hide its price, even though the publication captured their screenshot for reference.

The screenshot shared by My Laptop Guide shows that the price of the Asus ROG Zephyrus G15 GA503QS was set at 14,862 CNY (approximately Rs 1.67,000). It is expected to be officially announced at Asus’ launch event at CES 2021, which will take place on January 13 at 9:00 a.m. (10:30 p.m. IST)

Aside from pricing, the Amazon China list suggested some of the key specifications of the Asus ROG Zephyrus G15 GA503QS. The laptop is equipped with a Ryzen 7 5800HS processor and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 GPU. This can have either 8 GB or 16 GB of graphics memory. The device also appears to have 16 GB of RAM (a combination of 8 GB built-in and 8 GB removable) and 512 GB of M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD storage.
In contrast to last year’s ROG Zephyrus G15 with a refresh rate of 240 Hz, the new device appears to have a refresh rate of 144 Hz. This could be fair enough for most of the players out there. The display of the new Asus ROG Zephyrus G15 is possibly 15.6 inches and has a full HD resolution. Asus could also bring a 4K version for an enhanced experience.
The listing also suggests that the Asus ROG Zephyrus G15 GA503QS would include a 90 Wh battery, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth. The laptop also appears to weigh 1.9 kilograms and runs on Windows 10 Home.
