Cyberpunk 2077 reviews and bugs
CD Projekt Red lifted the review embargo on Monday evening and aggregators like OpenCritic and Metacritic gave it an average score of 92 out of 100 and 91 out of 100, respectively. The PC reviews are mostly positive, but the game has numerous bugs of varying severity. The game was labeled with all sorts of adjectives such as “fantastic”, “beautiful and dazzling”, “masterpiece of the open world” and much more. However, the reviewers have also noted bugs like scripting issues affecting NPCs, enemies can see through walls, reloading the game won’t restore game state, floating guns, errors mixing sounds, and much more as noted by Windows Central . You can see our full overview of Cyberpunk 2077 here.
Fortunately, CD Projekt Red’s Fabian Mario Döhla tweeted that the company is aware of the bugs and that “a number of issues reviewers have encountered (and reported) have already been fixed, with a few more being part of the update. ” This is good news for players who bought the game and for those who are waiting for it to be fixed.
In addition, the developers have announced that they will be adding a separate epilepsy warning to the game in addition to the warning already in the EULA. They also stated that the team is looking for a more permanent solution and that it will be implemented as soon as possible.
There is also an in-game “Streamer Mode” that disables copyrighted music when enabled, so players streaming Cyberpunk 2077 won’t have to worry about copyright strikes when playing music that belongs to someone else.
