Lenovo expanded its portfolio of laptops with the introduction of the ThinkBook 13x i, ThinkBook 14p Gen 2 and ThinkBook 16p Gen 2 at CES 2021. The new ThinkBook laptops are designed for business people with a high aspect ratio of 16:10. Selected models of the new series are supported by Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos. In addition to three new models, Lenovo has launched the ThinkBook Plus Gen 2 i laptop with an e-ink display.
Price for Lenovo ThinkBook 13x i, ThinkBook 14p Gen 2, ThinkBook 16p Gen 2 and ThinkBook Plus Gen 2 i
The Lenovo ThinkBook 13x i starts at $ 1,199 (approximately $ 87,700), while the ThinkBook 14p Gen 2 and ThinkBook 16p Gen 2 start at $ 849 (approximately $ 62,200), respectively. Under the hood there is the option of an 11th generation Intel Core i7 processor as well as up to 16 GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 1 TB M.2 PCIe Gen 4 SSD. The laptop has regular connectivity options including two Thunderbolt 4 ports, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth v5.0.
Lenovo offered Dolby Atmos support for the ThinkBook 13x i. There is also a 53W battery. The laptop is based on the Intel Evo platform, which is intended for slim, yet powerful Windows computers. The ThinkBook 13x i is available in the color options Cloud Gray and Storm Gray. The laptop comes with a thin 12.9 mm case and weighs less than 1.2 kilograms.
Lenovo ThinkBook 14p Gen 2 specifications
In contrast to the ThinkBook 13x i, the Lenovo ThinkBook 14p Gen 2 is based on the latest mobile AMD Ryzen processors (with up to AMD Ryzen 9 5000 H series). The laptop is coupled with up to 32 GB DDR4 RAM and up to 1 TB PCIe SSD. It has an up to 14 inch 2.8 KB OLED display with 300 nits of peak brightness and VESA DisplayHDR True Black standard. In terms of connectivity, the laptop includes USB Type C, HDMI 2.0, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth v5.0.

The Lenovo ThinkBook 14p Gen 2 is 16.9 mm thick and weighs less than 1.4 kg. The laptop also includes a fingerprint reader and IR camera, as well as Windows Hello support.

The laptop has a new e-ink user interface. It is a successor to the Lenovo ThinkBook Plus that was unveiled at CES 2020 and unveiled in India last September.
