Israel-based Smart Shooter announced that it has received an order from the Indian Ministry of Defense to supply its SMASH fire control systems to the Indian Navy.
According to a press release from the company, the award of the Indian Navy contract allows the company to supply the new sight, called the SMASH 2000 Plus, which is attached to the weapon and then neutralizes the fire with or without movement.
The contract provides for the supply of Smart Shooter’s SMASH 2000 Plus fire control systems, which will be installed primarily on AK-47/103 rifles.
